3. Products and Services

We strive to provide accurate product descriptions and specifications. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions, pricing, or other content on our website is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free.
Pricing and Availability
All prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue products at any time. Product availability is subject to confirmation at the time of order.
Orders and Quotations
Quotations provided are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including product availability, errors in pricing or product information, or suspected fraud.
4. Payment Terms
Payment terms will be specified in your quotation or invoice. Standard payment terms are:
- Full payment required before delivery for new customers
- Net 30 days for approved credit accounts
- Interest may be charged on overdue accounts at the rate of 1.5% per month
- All payment methods accepted: bank transfer, credit card, or approved trade credit
Prices exclude GST unless otherwise stated. GST will be added to invoices where applicable.
5. Installation and Service
Installation Services
Professional installation is required for all Clean Burn heating systems. Installation services are provided by certified technicians and must be performed in accordance with:
- Manufacturer specifications and guidelines
- New Zealand building codes and safety regulations
- Local authority requirements and consent processes
- Environmental compliance standards
Site Requirements
Customer is responsible for:
- Providing safe and adequate access to installation site
- Ensuring electrical and structural requirements are met
- Obtaining necessary building consents and permissions
- Providing suitable waste oil storage facilities
Maintenance Requirements
Regular maintenance is essential for system performance and warranty validity. Customers must adhere to the recommended maintenance schedule provided in the product documentation.
6. Warranties
Product Warranty
Clean Burn products are covered by manufacturer warranties as specified in product documentation. Warranty terms vary by product and typically include:
- Heat exchanger: Limited lifetime warranty
- Burner components: 2-year limited warranty
- Other parts: 1-year limited warranty
Warranty Conditions
Warranties are void if:
- Product is not installed by certified technicians
- Regular maintenance schedule is not followed
- Product is used with unsuitable fuels or materials
- Unauthorized modifications or repairs are made
- Product is subjected to misuse, negligence, or accident
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CLEAN BURN PACIFIC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, DATA LOSS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, software, and technical data, is the property of Clean Burn Pacific or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content without our express written permission. The Clean Burn name and logo are registered trademarks.
8. Safety and Compliance
Environmental Compliance
Customers must comply with all applicable environmental regulations regarding waste oil collection, storage, and disposal. This includes:
- Resource Management Act 1991 requirements
- Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act 1996
- Local council bylaws and discharge consents
- Workplace health and safety regulations
Safety Requirements
Customers are responsible for maintaining safe operating conditions, providing adequate training for operators, and following all safety protocols outlined in product documentation.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to our services immediately, without prior notice, for any breach of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.
11. Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute arising from these Terms or our services, parties agree to:
- First attempt to resolve the matter through good faith negotiation
- If negotiation fails, pursue mediation through an agreed mediator
- Only pursue litigation as a last resort
12. Consumer Guarantees Act
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any rights you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other mandatory consumer protection legislation in New Zealand.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.
